Learning by building
things.
Novx.dev is my personal space to share what I’m learning and building.
I’m 17, and most of what’s here I built because I needed it. I use it to experiment with self-hosting, deployment, infrastructure, and front-end design.
So far, I’ve worked with Docker, Portainer, Nginx, and server setup, and I’m building small tools to improve my skills and my knowledge step by step.
Self-hosted
I rent a VPS and run everything myself: Docker, Nginx, SSL. Not because it's easier, but because I want to understand how it works.
Learning as I go
Google, AI, and a lot of tabs open. That's the process.
Built by breaking things
I started with no idea what a reverse proxy was. Most of what's here I learned by getting it wrong first, then figuring out why.
